Job summary

YTL UK is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer in Bath to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Azure, Microsoft 365, and IaC. You will automate provisioning, govern resources, and support hybrid environments with Active Directory and Azure AD.

You will collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines and ensure alignment with ITIL processes while keeping documentation up to date. This role offers a strong devops focus and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure architecture and administration.
• Strong knowledge of IaC (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 configuration and support.
• Understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of PKI, certificate management, and secure authentication.
• Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy Azure infrastructure using ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform.
• Implement and maintain Microsoft 365 services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and IaC frameworks.
• Manage Azure governance (Policies, Blueprints, Conditional Access) and ensure compliance.
• Support hybrid environments integrating Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Monitor and optimise cloud resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and security tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
• Maintain documentation and follow ITIL best practices for incident and change management.
