Job summary

Nerdio is hiring in the UK for a client-facing Support Engineer to help IT admins maximize Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, and Intune deployments. The role emphasizes expert platform support, accurate resolutions, and collaboration with MSPs and enterprise customers.

The position follows a 8AM–5PM GMT schedule Tuesday to Saturday, with UK, Serbia, Germany and the Netherlands as hiring locations. A strong technical background and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a technical support, systems administration, or cloud infrastructure role.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop deployments or Azure management; equivalent virtualization experience accepted.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewall configuration.
• Experience administering Windows Server environments; Linux familiarity is a plus.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and scripting.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for cloud/hybrid environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with IT professionals.
• Strong documentation discipline for case records and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through AVD deployments and Azure infrastructure setup using Nerdio Manager.
• Collaborate with enterprise customers and MSPs to assess requirements and readiness.
• Provide hands-on support across the Nerdio platform including AVD, Windows 365, and Intune.
• Respond to cases promptly, diagnose root causes, and deliver clear solutions.
• Work with engineering and product teams to reproduce and resolve advanced issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Nerdio capabilities and Microsoft cloud tech.
• Build relationships with IT admins and stakeholders, communicating clearly.
