Job summary

Nerdio, Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a client-facing Support Engineer with strong technical depth and communication skills to help IT professionals maximize Nerdio platform capabilities for Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, and Microsoft Intune.

You will resolve complex platform issues, work with enterprise customers and MSP partners, and contribute to successful deployments across AVD and cloud services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a technical support, systems administration, or cloud infrastructure role.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop deployments or Azure environment management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewall).
• Experience administering Windows Server environments; Linux familiarity is a plus.
• PowerShell for automation and scripting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with IT professionals.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through AVD deployments and Azure infrastructure setup using Nerdio Manager.
• Collaborate with enterprise customers and MSP partners to assess requirements and ensure deployments align with best practices.
• Provide hands-on technical support for IT professionals across the Nerdio platform, including AVD, Windows 365, and Intune.
• Respond to cases promptly; diagnose root causes and deliver clear resolutions.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of Entra ID, Entra Domain Services, AD DS to resolve complex issues.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to reproduce and drive resolution of platform issues.
• Maintain current knowledge of Nerdio platform capabilities and Microsoft cloud technologies to advise customers accurately.
