Job summary

INTEC SELECT LIMITED in London is seeking a Desktop Engineer to provide 1st and 2nd line support for a global asset manager. You will own the endpoint estate in your region, work hands-on within a small team and be involved across the full stack with senior engineers.

The role covers Intune, M365 and Windows 11 in a corporate environment, plus Azure, Okta, AVD, Cato and more. Occasional travel to regional offices is required; permanent position with £50,000–£75,000 and a 10–15% bonus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in IT support, desktop engineering or sysadmin.
• Hands-on Intune, M365 and Windows 11 in a managed corporate environment.
• Azure fundamentals and solid networking.
• Several of: Okta, AVD, CrowdStrike, Cato, Meraki, Rubrik, AppLocker.
• PowerShell you can write and troubleshoot, not just run.
• Financial services or buy-side experience strongly preferred.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• 1st and 2nd line support for users across Europe, the US and APAC, including PMs, traders and senior execs.
• Own Intune, AppLocker, patching and AVD in your region.
• Take on Azure, Okta, Cato, Meraki and Rubrik work alongside senior engineers.
• Triage CrowdStrike detections and run joiner/mover/leaver processes end to end.
• Automate with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
• Some travel to regional offices for rack builds, cabling and AV.
