Job summary

Method Resourcing is partnering with a globally recognised education organisation to appoint a Cloud & Infrastructure Lead to drive cloud strategy and platform evolution. Based in Cardiff with a hybrid pattern (2 days on site), you will lead the Cloud & Data Services team and oversee global infrastructure projects, balancing technical direction with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cloud, Infrastructure or Platform Engineering.
• Azure experience preferred; AWS considered.
• Understanding of Azure DevOps and modern delivery practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading projects, technical teams or workstreams.
• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and cloud services.
• Ability to balance technical decisions with business priorities.
• Experience mentoring or managing engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Cloud & Infrastructure team for global services.
• Drive cloud strategy and platform evolution across cloud providers.
• Manage and mentor engineers, developing capability within the team.
• Engage with stakeholders across technology and the wider business.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and other leads to evolve services.
