Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to oversee production environments, improve platform reliability, and drive innovation. You will build tools to support infrastructure management across large-scale distributed applications and collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth releases.

You will work in a hybrid setup in Greater London, leveraging AWS and modern CI/CD practices to deliver stable, scalable services and rapid feature delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters and related certifications is a strong bonus.
• Hands-on familiarity with Grafana Observability Suite and components like Loki, Mimir, Tempo.
• Experience with monitoring/automation tools: Splunk, Datadog, PagerDuty, Rundeck.
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet or Chef for configuration management.
• Certifications in cloud DevOps (AWS/GCP) or similar credentials.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system and application metrics to fine-tune performance and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Collaborate with developers to improve service quality through testing and release practices.
• Engage in architecture discussions, manage platform operations, and forecast capacity.
• Design and implement automated solutions to build resilient, scalable systems.
• Deliver new features while maintaining stability and meeting SLAs.
