Job summary

Risk Ledger is seeking an experienced Platform/SRE/DevOps engineer to build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and to enable secure, reliable software delivery. You will work closely with engineers, product managers and security teams in a London-based role.

You will drive automation, observability and reliability across AWS/GCP, implementing CI/CD pipelines and shifting security left in the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP) and infrastructure automation tools.
• Proficiency in containerisation and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS) and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong scripting/programming in Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
• Accelerate product delivery via platform engineering, pipelines and internal platforms.
• Improve developer experience with self‑service tooling and standardisation.
• Support reliability with SRE practices, incident response, SLI/SLO/SLAs.
• Embed security across the engineering lifecycle and manage credentials safely.
• Contribute to security posture with vulnerability scanning and threat modelling.
• Move fast with high quality through automation and best practices.
• Share knowledge and grow technical skills within the team.
• Support AI/ML platform tooling behind the scenes (Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock).
