Job summary

Spectrum IT in London seeks a Platform Engineer to own the production environment, boost reliability, and architect scalable solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will work with Kubernetes clusters, Grafana/Loki/Mimir/Tempo observability tools, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver features with stability. Hybrid working (3 days from home) is offered along with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python/Go/Java/C#).
• Strong scripting skills (Bash/PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize production systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with developers to improve service quality through testing and structured releases.
• Lead platform operations and capacity planning for large-scale distributed applications.
