Job summary

You will build and own scalable CI/CD platforms, enhance developer productivity, and drive observability and reliability across cloud and on-prem environments, partnering with engineering, data, and business teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering within distributed environments.
• Strong software engineering with Python and/or Go.
• Deep expertise with CI/CD technologies (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy).
• Experience supporting high-traffic platforms and scalable infrastructure.
• Kubernetes expertise and containerised environments.
• Terraform and Kubernetes Operators for IaC.
• Observability with monitoring, logging, metrics and alerting.
• Experience with AWS and on-premises infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and automate scalable CI/CD platforms supporting millions of build and deployment activities each year.
• Develop platform capabilities that improve developer productivity, software delivery speed, and operational efficiency.
• Champion DevOps and SRE best practices across automation, observability, infrastructure as code, and platform operations.
• Build resilient deployment pipelines that enable self-service software delivery and reduce operational overhead.
• Manage and optimise large-scale Kubernetes environments supporting business-critical applications.
• Collaborate with software engineering, data, infrastructure, and business teams to enhance platform reliability and scalability.
• Develop tooling and automation that improves service stability, fault tolerance, and developer experience.
• Architect and maintain highly available infrastructure supporting critical software development workflows.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, helping maintain high levels of platform reliability.

Key Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering within complex distributed environments.
• Strong software engineering experience with Python and/or Go.
• Deep expertise with CI/CD technologies, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting critical infrastructure and platforms serving millions of requests per day.
• Strong background designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and testable infrastructure solutions.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes and containerised environments.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and Kubernetes Operators.
• Experience with observability platforms covering monitoring, logging, metrics, and alerting.
• Exposure to both AWS and on-premise infrastructure environments.
