Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an E3 Engineer within the Conversational Banking value stream to help evolve our AWS Connect-based platform and transition from legacy systems to a unified, cloud-native stack. You will design, build, deploy and operate features for voice, video and chat interactions across channels.

You’ll work in a hybrid model with two days in the office at Swindon or London, with the flexibility to work from home where possible.

Qualifications

• Development experience with Python and/or Node.js.
• Experience with AWS including AWS Connect, Lambda, S3 and DynamoDB.
• REST API design and integration experience.
• Experience working in agile, DevOps-driven teams.
• Experience leading code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and operate features and services for Voice, Video and Chat on AWS Connect.
• Transition from legacy technologies to a unified, cloud-native platform while ensuring stability.
