Job summary

Delaney & Bourton in Leeds is seeking a senior Cloud Engineer to join a FTSE-listed brand on enterprise-scale cloud initiatives. You will design, build, and optimise AWS environments, driving transformation across multiple markets.

The role focuses on IaC, automation, security governance, and cost efficiency, with hybrid work: 2 days in HQ and 3 days remote. Suitable for DevOps or AWS Cloud Platform Engineers seeking to advance to enterprise-level engagements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering cloud transformation and migration programmes.
• Strong hands-on AWS expertise across core services including EC2, S3, Lambda, containers, and serverless technologies.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native solutions at scale.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks including ISO and NIST.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Location: Leeds, Hybrid (2 days in HQ, 3 days remote)

This is a group-wide, enterprise level Cloud Engineering role, working on real scale.

Meaningful, real enterprise scale work operating with a talented Cloud centre of excellence. This is NOT a support role. The role will help build, optimise, and evolve a modern cloud platform supporting critical business services across multiple international markets.

Suited to DevOps Engineers and/or AWS Cloud Platform Engineers that really enjoying leveraging IAC (TF / CDK / Cloudformation) and Automation. We are open to Senior’s looking to work on an enterprise level; alternatively Cloud Engineers that are looking to grow their careers.
