Job summary

Prospect Global Ltd in Edinburgh is seeking an Amazon Connect Solution Architect to design, build and scale cloud-based contact center solutions on AWS. You will own the architecture, guide technical delivery, and work closely with customers to ensure secure, scalable outcomes.

The role is hybrid (2 days a week) with involvement in solution design, governance, and analytics using AWS services such as Connect, Lex, Lambda, and Bedrock.

Qualifications

• Experience designing Amazon Connect and AWS contact center solutions.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable cloud architectures.
• Strong knowledge of IVR, CTI, ACD, and call recording.
• Experience with AWS AI/ML services to enhance CX.
• Security architecture and least-privilege IAM design experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall solution architecture for Amazon Connect including voice routing, IVR design, and agent experience.
• Lead architectural discussions ensuring AWS Well-Architected Framework alignment.
• Define logical and integration architectures aligned with AWS best practices.
• Design and govern Amazon Connect instances, including high availability and multi-region considerations.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and resilience in solution design.
• Define integration patterns using Lambda, APIs, and event-driven mechanisms with data persistence.
• Engage with customers to provide expert guidance on AWS services including Connect, Lex, Lambda, and Bedrock.
• Ensure real-time and post-call analytics using Connect analytics, Contact Lens, and related features.
