Job summary

SMBC Group in London is seeking an Application Support Analyst – Front Office – Fixed Income & Derivatives Sales & Trading at AVP level to join the Sales & Trading Application Support team. You will provide business-facing and technical production support for critical Fixed Income and Derivatives applications with a focus on electronic trading platforms and end-to-end trading workflows.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years in Front Office application or trading support within investment banking or capital markets.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income, Derivatives, front-to-end trade lifecycles and electronic trading workflows.
• Proven incident ownership, analytical troubleshooting and stakeholder-management in a fast-paced Front Office environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for Front Office Fixed Income applications and eTrading services.
• Own high-severity incidents end-to-end, coordinating users, tech teams, venues and vendors to restore service.
• Support releases, upgrades and new functionality with testing, controls and BAU transition.
• Maintain runbooks, procedures and documentation for efficient support.
