Job summary

Acron Aviation is seeking an experienced Technical Author to join our London Training Centre. You will develop and maintain high-quality aviation training and operational documentation, turning complex systems into clear, user-friendly materials.

You’ll work with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and compliance with manufacturer procedures and industry standards. This role focuses on producing technical publications and supporting digital training content, with opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• Experience creating technical documentation for aviation or similar fields.
• Ability to turn complex technical information into clear, user-friendly material.
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with digital content development tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality technical and training documentation.
• Research and interpret complex aircraft systems and procedures.
• Produce clear content for pilots and aviation professionals.
• Work with SMEs, instructors and technical teams to validate content.
• Review and update documents reflecting changes to systems and regulations.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all materials.
• Support development of digital and computer-based training content.
• Use IT and document-production tools to create professional materials.
• Assist with document control, version management and QA.
