Job summary

Acro Aircraft Seating Limited in Crick is seeking a Technical Author to create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Manufacturing Engineering team. You will ensure operators follow safe, efficient, and quality-driven instructions and own the SOP change approval process with operations, quality and engineering.

The role requires experience writing technical literature, ability to read engineering drawings, and strong collaboration across functions.

Job Description

The Technical Author will be responsible for the Creation and upkeep of our standard operating instructions. Working alongside of the Manufacturing Engineers the Technical Author will ensure the work instructions our operators use to do their jobs are safety, efficient, quality focused and to the process. Furthermore, the Technical Author will own the SOP change approval process working with operations, quality, and engineering functions to ensure the SOPs are to the best standard.
