Job summary

Serco Limited seeks an Aircraft Support Equipment Coordinator to ensure ASE/ASSE/HUSLE are managed, maintained and available for operations. You will support engineering governance and play a key role in aviation readiness at RNAS Yeovilton.

You will coordinate asset movements, supervise data, and ensure COSHH and risk assessments are up to date. This role demands strong organisation, communication and independent teamwork within CHF operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in military or civilian aviation, engineering, logistics or airworthiness environments.
• Knowledge of aircraft support equipment management and related engineering processes.
• Experience using asset management systems like JAMES or similar.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Aircraft Support Equipment (ASE), Aircraft Specialist Support Equipment (ASSE), Helicopter Underslung Lifting Equipment (HUSLE) and Role Equipment for operations and training.
• Serve as the JAMES subject matter expert, guiding engineering and logistics teams.
• Monitor equipment holdings, maintenance schedules and asset records for compliance and availability.
• Coordinate movement, packing and transport of specialist equipment including deployment activities.
• Produce risk assessments and COSHH documentation; maintain assurance records.
• Support audits, inspections, governance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure equipment requirements are met.
• Maintain records and reporting to support airworthiness and engineering compliance.
