Job summary

Menzies Aviation is recruiting for a Vehicle Refueller to support aircraft turnarounds at our UK sites. You will refuel passenger aircraft, follow airline and airport procedures, and maintain accurate records of operations.

Role requires a valid driving licence (LGV C+E), strong numeracy and literacy, and a collaborative, flexible approach. Training may be provided for aircraft refuelling duties.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high levels of awareness in relation to Health, Safety and Security.
• Valid LGV C+E licence required.
• High numeracy and literacy skills with good problem solving.
• Excellent teamwork and flexible attitude.
• Leadership and clear communication are essential.
• Aircraft refuelling experience is desirable but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Attend and refuel aircraft by tanker/bowser as directed by Allocators/Supervisor.
• Operate in accordance with airport, safety, security and airline regulations.
• Operate onboard aircraft switches according to procedures.
• Record data manually and/or by computer.
• Conduct vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure vehicles are serviced with diesel and lubricants.
• Maintain radio/telephone contact for flight information and communications.
• Report incidents and provide required reports.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by Supervisor or regional manager.
