Job summary

World Fuel Services seeks an Aircraft Refuelling Operator near Luton Airport. This frontline role ensures safe, compliant delivery of aviation fuel to aircraft and supports SSHE standards across operations.

You will handle, store and transport fuel, record movements, input data into the i6 system, and assist with vehicle and crew planning. A strong safety mindset and good numeracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with 2+ years' experience.
• Fuel tanker refuelling experience is an advantage.
• Live within 45 minutes of Luton Airport.
• Able to pass airport security clearance including criminal record check.
• Flexible approach to working hours; willing to cover holidays and sickness.
• Basic numeracy, English language and IT/data entry skills.
• Strong safety awareness and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, store, and transport aviation fuel.
• Conduct into-plane refuelling in line with procedures.
• Accurately record fuel movements and transactions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service as the first point of contact.
• Follow emergency procedures and maintain safety protocols.
• Input operational data into the i6 system and complete daily reconciliations.
• Support vehicle and manpower planning.
• Maintain training and competency in fuel handling procedures.
