Job summary

Capilaux Aero in Heathrow is seeking a motivated Purchasing Executive to support purchasing and sales activities, sourcing quality aircraft and engine materials, and improve pricing and profitability. The role offers exposure to procurement, supplier management, inventory control and commercial trading with international suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing, sales or administration within aviation, and be comfortable travelling as required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent qualifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the purchasing process from sourcing and PO placement to delivery.
• Prepare customer enquiries, establish pricing and source quality materials.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships meeting contractual, technical, quality and delivery needs.
• Coordinate with sales, logistics, quality, technical and other teams to support opportunities.
• Monitor orders and develop cost, quality, delivery improvements for profitability.
