Job summary

Bombardier’s Biggin Hill-based Service Centre is seeking a Buyer to manage purchasing, inventory and logistics for aircraft parts and services. You will coordinate with vendors, prepare purchase orders, track shipments and ensure timely delivery for maintenance projects at the UK site.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Purchasing or Inventory Management and experience in aviation or materials environment, with knowledge of SAP and MS Office. UK location; on-site work at Biggin Hill.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing or Inventory Management or equivalent work level.
• Experience in aviation or material/parts environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with European regulations (EASA Part-145, ADR) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend kickoff meetings and proactively prepare purchase orders.
• Arrange slots with external vendors for overhaul/repair of aircraft parts.
• Track materials and tooling to support recertification and maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate repair and overhaul quotes and lead times.
• Place POs and ensure conformance to purchase requirements (ASL).
• Monitor deliveries and report delays to Project Manager.
