Job summary

Capilaux Aero in Heathrow is seeking a Senior Commercial Airfreight / Business Development Manager to drive new business and expand existing accounts within a hybrid working framework. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to pricing, maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders.

The role requires a proven track record in airfreight sales, an extensive industry network, and the ability to work autonomously with significant travel and diary control.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in airfreight sales, business development or commercial account management.
• Strong existing network of industry contacts.
• Ideally, 60%+ of current sales activity focused on airfreight.
• Demonstrable track record of winning new business.
• Experience managing both new and existing customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of airfreight operations, pricing and the logistics market.
• Commercially driven and entrepreneurial, by building business.
• Confident attending customer meetings and developing relationships at senior level.
• Attractive commission structure.
• Hybrid working with significant autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure new airfreight business through networking, prospecting, referrals and existing relationships.
• Build, manage and grow a portfolio of new and existing customers.
• Generate profitable business across inbound and outbound airfreight.
• Conduct regular customer visits and develop strong long-term commercial relationships.
• Manage the full sales process from initial contact through to pricing, negotiation and securing business.
