Job summary

Flexjet Europe seeks a highly experienced Operations Duty Manager to oversee real-time flight operations and act as the senior operational authority during shift, ensuring safe, compliant operations and a premium client experience.

You will coordinate across Operations Control, Scheduling, Crew Dispatch and Maintenance, lead disruption management, and drive improvements while maintaining high standards for Owner Services and VIP clients.

Qualifications

• Extensive aviation operations experience with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Strong decision-making skills under time pressure.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a high-stakes environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including VIP clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily flight operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient scheduling and execution.
• Act as senior escalation point for operational issues, Owners Services, and high-priority client matters.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Operations Control, Scheduling, Crew Dispatch and Maintenance.
• Manage AOG events, disruptions, and emergencies with timely stakeholder alignment.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Oversee crew planning and readiness, ensuring legality and efficiency.
• Drive improvements through efficiency, cost optimisation and service enhancements.
• Maintain oversight of operational reporting, performance tracking and continuous improvement.
