Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years management experience in the Terminal Operations environment.
• Ability to drive through policies and procedures and represent Operations.
• Self-motivated and performance driven.
• Ability to deliver operational excellence.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and professional.
• Ability to foster a cooperative, team orientated work environment.
• Flexibility in terms of working hours and days to fit with operational requirements.
• Airside driving and jetty licence required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver operational performance within budget and meet service level agreements.
• Manage the Operations Team and oversee daily activities.
• Investigate and report on performance failures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain best practices across Manchester Airport operations.
• Report/escalate to the Operations Manager daily; cover as Operations Manager when needed.
• Own and deliver operational performance targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers to ensure performance.
