Wheels Up in Gatwick is seeking an Operations Controller to manage crew rostering and flight schedules on-site. You will monitor flights, coordinate with agents, and ensure on-time performance within a 12-hour shift pattern.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, airline experience, and familiarity with PPS and NavBlue/N-OC systems. The position offers a basic £31,000 salary with benefits and opportunities for growth in a fast-paced aviation environment at Gatwick.

Qualifikationen

• Commercial awareness with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a 12-hour shift and adapt on short notice due to weather or technical issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (including diaries and email).
• Well organised and proactive with ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in an OCC role is ideal.
• Rostering experience is essential.
• Extensive knowledge of PPS (Flight Planning) systems.
• Extensive knowledge of NavBlue / N-OC systems.
• Ideally 1+ years in a commercial airline.
• Ideally knowledge of UK CAA FTLs.

Aufgaben

• Crew rostering for all relevant flights.
• Ensure adherence to the FTL scheme.
• Maintain a flight watch to ensure on-time operations.
• Liaise with handling agents on daily schedule and disruptions.
• Monitor flight plans and slots across the network.
• Produce reports for management.
• Update spreadsheets related to flight safety.
• Monitor weather and NOTAMs for destinations.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage high workload and service levels.
