Job summary

MAG is seeking an Aviation Firefighter at Stansted Airport to join our Fire Service. You will respond to emergencies, maintain regulatory compliance, and protect life and property in line with company standards.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence, a CAA Fire Service certificate, and a minimum of three years’ aviation firefighting experience. A First Aid at Work and LGV licence are advantageous, with ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence, medical standard met.
• CAA Fire Service (RFFS) certificate required.
• Minimum 3 years’ service as Aviation Firefighter.
• First Aid at Work and LGV Licence advantageous.
• Pass entry tests and fitness assessments.

Responsibilities

• Deal with emergency situations in accordance with regulations and procedures.
• Undertake firefighting duties to save life and protect property.
• Mobilise resources efficiently for emergency incidents.
• Maintain professional competence as defined by regulator.
• Ensure PPE and equipment are fit for purpose and compliant.
• Communicate with Sector/Incident Commander and report findings.
