Job summary

MAG (Airports Group) at Stansted Airport is seeking an Aviation Firefighter to join the fire service team. You will deal with emergencies, fight fires and protect life and property, while maintaining regulatory competence and adhering to company standards.

Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence, a CAA Fire Service certificate of competence (RFFS), and a minimum of 3 years’ aviation firefighting experience. LGV and First Aid at Work are advantageous; MAG offers a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Current CAA Fire Service (RFFS) certificate required.
• Minimum 3 years’ aviation firefighting experience.

Responsibilities

• Deal with emergency situations in accordance with regulations and procedures.
• Maintain required technical competencies through courses and assessments.
• Efficiently mobilise resources for emergency incidents.
• Maintain PPE and equipment to ensure readiness and safety.
• Comply with health and safety policies and legal obligations.
