The role is a full-time aviation firefighter position reporting to the Crew Leader and Watch Manager, requiring a valid UK driving licence, CAA Fire Service competence, and the ability to meet medical and fitness standards.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Fire Service (RFFS) certificate of competence for a Fire Fighter.
• Minimum 3 years' service as an Aviation Firefighter.
• Must have a valid full UK Driving Licence and meet medical standards.
• LGV Licence and First Aid at Work qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily activities to maintain an effective Fire Service and protect life and property.
• Deal with emergency situations and undertake firefighting duties when required.
• Mobilise resources in response to incidents and communicate with incident command.
• Maintain equipment and safety practices to meet audit standards.
• Promote safe working practices and comply with safety policies; substitute within the team as needed.
