Job summary
The Roundhouse in Wandsworth is a welcoming neighbourhood pub known for great food, seasonal flavours and a lively, friendly atmosphere. This Sous Chef role offers autonomy to lead, develop the team and contribute to menus in a busy kitchen.
You will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards, oversee daily service and mentor junior staff, while delivering consistent, high-quality dishes with care.
Qualifications
- Experience championing excellent service through quality food.
- Ability to lead and develop a kitchen team.
- Hands-on chef with strong communication skills.
- Responsible for kitchen staff rota, training and health & safety.
- Creativity in designing and delivering new dishes for menus and daily specials.
- Strong planning and organisational skills to manage GP and labour.
- Proactive in driving sales and growth with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
