Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd in Avonmouth seeks a Maintenance Engineer to own the plant with opportunities to drive improvements across electrical and mechanical maintenance within automated production and material handling systems.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days / 2 nights), a salary around £54,000, and a pathway to long-term development within a large international manufacturing group on site.

Qualifications

• Electrically biased multiskilled engineer preferred.
• Strong mechanical capability with electrical fault-finding ability.
• Willingness to work autonomously and make sensible engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the production facility.
• Diagnose breakdowns and identify improvements to increase plant reliability.
• Take ownership of smaller engineering projects and site improvements.
