Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is working with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for their growing engineering team. This role offers a structured competency framework and progression opportunities within a well-invested production facility.

You will maintain production performance, reduce downtime and support continuous improvement across a busy site, with a 4-on, 4-off days/nights shift pattern and a starting salary of £42,000, rising to £50,000 as milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with PLCs, control panels, drives and inverters.
• Proactive, hands-on maintenance engineer.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across site machinery and production equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Fault find on PLC-controlled equipment, inverters, drives and control panels.
• Support continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Complete maintenance documentation and ensure accurate engineering records.
• Work in line with health & safety procedures and engineering best practice.
• Contribute to the overall performance and reliability of the manufacturing operation.
