Yolk Recruitment is supporting a leading manufacturing organisation in Ammanford, Wales, recruiting a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance on a fast-paced site, with a 4 on 4 off days and nights pattern, ensuring equipment reliability and minimal downtime.

You'll diagnose faults, carry out preventative maintenance, and work with the engineering team to drive continuous improvement while maintaining high health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experienced maintenance engineer in manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Proactive maintenance mindset focused on reliability.
• NVQ/City & Guilds/HNC or equivalent Level 3 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to maximise uptime.
• Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime across shift patterns.
• Identify recurring faults and drive improvements to equipment reliability.
• Assist with continuous improvement projects across the site.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure all maintenance activity complies with site safety and food manufacturing standards.
