Job summary

Smiths News is seeking an Instore Merchandiser for the Glastonbury area. The role offers flexible, part-time hours with a pay rate of £14.24 per hour (incl. Holiday Pay) and mileage/travel time eligibility.

You will manage POS, stock replenishment, and displays while building strong relationships with store staff. Driving licence and vehicle use are required. You’ll work an average of 5–20 hours per week, with location allowances where applicable, and enjoy opportunities within a FTSE PLC field

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Friendly, confident personality with can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication and reliability.
• Be located within 15 miles of the advertised area.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory with POS placement, stock replenishment and auditing.
• Create and maintain visually impactful displays that stay on-brand.
• Build strong relationships with store colleagues and managers.
• Keep everything in order and manage cost-effective journey planning.
• Make every visit count and work autonomously.
