Job summary

Langford View, Bicester, Oxfordshire, is seeking an experienced Chef to oversee all aspects of our kitchen and catering services. You will lead a small team, design menus with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and ensure high standards of nutrition, hygiene and safety for up to 60 residents.

The role offers 40 hours per week, a 6:30am–2:30pm pattern with alternative weekend work, and a pay rate of £16.49 per hour with weekend enhancements.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional kitchen catering for large numbers.
• Ability to design menus and manage budget for stock and food costs.
• Experience leading and motivating a small team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen and catering services in the care home.
• Manage a small team and ensure high standards of nutrition, hygiene and safety.
• Cater for residents with dietary needs and preferences.
• Occasionally cater for meals for day centres and community activities; some weekend work required.
