Job summary

Madley Park House in Witney is seeking an experienced chef to design menus, cook nutritious, high-quality meals, and lead a small kitchen team. You’ll work from 7:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts, and enjoy a 37-hour week and a competitive hourly pay rate.

You’ll oversee nutrition, hygiene and safety, tailor menus to residents' dietary needs, and coordinate with home staff to deliver a warm, home-from-home dining experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and designing menus for large groups.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and menu planning for residents.
• Experience in a professional kitchen with budgeting and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen and catering services for the home.
• Lead a small kitchen team to ensure quality and consistency.
• Maintain nutrition, hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Occasionally cater for meals for day centres or community activities.
