OC Motor Repairs seeks a Workshop Controller/Workshop Manager to lead a busy vehicle repair workshop, ensuring efficient workflow, high quality workmanship and strong customer service. You will monitor the flow of work, support a prompt first-time fix and boost productivity through coaching and hands-on leadership.
The role balances technical understanding with people management and clear communication to maintain high standards across the workshop, while contributing to continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Previous workshop control or management experience
- Strong automotive technical background preferred
- Excellent leadership and people management abilities
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong customer focus
- Clear communication and organisational skills
Responsabilités
- Manage workflow through the workshop to support timely completion
- Check quality of technicians’ work and support a prompt first-time fix
- Drive workshop utilisation, efficiency and productivity
- Coach and support technicians to improve performance
- Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and encouraging recommendations
