Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Limited seeks an Automotive Service Communications Author to bridge engineering and the dealer network. You will draft and maintain technical publications focused on end consumers, using CAD/HTML/XML where relevant.

The role involves information gathering, producing clear documentation, and presenting technical cases to senior teams. You will join a collaborative team delivering publications for automotive clients, with a hybrid working pattern (minimum 3 days onsite)

Qualifications

• Strong automotive system knowledge and attention to detail required.
• Excellent English writing, spelling and punctuation.
• Good communication and professionalism to liaise with all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects in parallel.
• Presentation skills to deliver business cases using PowerPoint (where applicable).
• Technical authoring competence or willingness to train; CAD/HTML/XML tools desirable.

Responsibilities

• Information gathering and understanding of topics for technical documentation.
• Produce and maintain documentation to required quality standards.
• Use illustrations, CAD and rendered graphics to enhance documentation.
• Validate information through sign-off and stakeholder reviews.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
