Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing LTD is recruiting for a customer-focused Service Advisor to join an established dealership in Abingdon. You will be the key contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth service experience from check-in to collection.

The role emphasises delivering excellent customer service, booking vehicles, recording requirements, liaising with technicians and providing regular updates. A 42.5-hour week is included with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Confident working in a busy dealership environment.
• Good attention to detail and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and handling service enquiries.
• Booking vehicles into the workshop.
• Preparing job cards and accurately recording customer requirements.
• Liaising with technicians and workshop colleagues.
• Providing customers with regular updates on vehicle progress.
• Discussing additional work and obtaining customer authorisation.
• Ensuring vehicles are ready for collection and invoices are explained.
• Delivering excellent customer service throughout the process.
