Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group in Exeter is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join a busy workshop team. You will answer calls, take service bookings, and keep the service planners up to date while managing invoicing and cash payments.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively with customers, be computer literate, and benefit from full brand training and a supportive work environment. Exide location Exeter, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in the motor industry preferred.
• Able to handle invoicing and cash payments.
• Comfortable talking to customers.
• Good computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Take service bookings to keep the workshop fully booked.

Automotive Service Advisor

Job Title - Automotive Service Advisor

Salary – up to £32000 per annum

Hours – Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 5pm

Location – Exeter

We are working with an established commercial vehicle workshop that are looking to add to their existing team with the addition of an Automotive Service Advisor.

Automotive Service Advisor job role:

• The role will include answering telephone calls
• Taking service bookings to ensure the workshop is fully booked
• Maintaining the vehicle service planners
• Invoicing and taking cash payments
• Updating customers on vehicle repair progress.

The successful Automotive Service Advisor will have:

• Work well as a member of a successful team
• Be comfortable talking to customers and have a background in the motor industry.
• A working knowledge of Kerridge ADP would be advantageous but is not crucial.
• Need to be computer literate and be comfortable with MS Office products.
