Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Corporate Risk Analyst to join our Risk team in Cardiff or Redhill. You will assess retailer credit risk, provide independent analysis and informed recommendations to support prudent, commercially sound decisions.

Key duties include reviewing credit applications, analysing financial accounts and maintaining retailer records while collaborating with internal teams to drive risk improvements and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience analyzing financial accounts.
• Commercial experience within automotive finance, wholesale finance or a comparable environment.
• Knowledge of legal contracts and securities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate).
• Ability to gather and interpret information from multiple sources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with autonomous work and tight deadlines.
• Collaborative approach and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Resilience, flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing new and existing credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Reviewing financial accounts, repayment capacity, operating performance, asset bases and collateral.
• Gathering relevant information, including certified accounts, FCA permissions, KYC records and underwriting documentation.
• Monitoring the quality and financial position of retailers within your portfolio.
• Recognising signs of increasing risk, escalating concerns when appropriate.
• Preparing clear recommendations for approval authorities and the Head of Corporate Risk.
• Reviewing the use of credit facilities and suggesting actions when limits are exceeded.
• Supporting the creation of new retailer accounts after credit approval.
• Maintaining complete, accurate retailer records.
• Assisting with assessment of new business opportunities.
• Collaborating with Wholesale Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Compliance and other teams.
• Identifying opportunities to improve Corporate Risk processes and team performance.
• Providing support for Corporate Fleet underwriting when required.
