Job summary

ASI Recruitment is seeking a knowledgeable Parts Advisor / Workshop Support for a busy independent automotive workshop near Gomshall. You will source, order and verify parts to keep technicians supplied and the workshop running smoothly.

The role requires hands‑on involvement, experience in automotive parts, and proficiency with ordering systems. Monday to Friday, 8:00am‑5:00pm with 20 days + Bank Holidays and a proactive, practical approach to duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Parts Advisor / Automotive Parts role.
• Good knowledge of vehicle parts and components.
• Experience using parts ordering systems.
• Strong organisational and attention‑to‑detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Order automotive parts for workshop jobs.
• Check parts on arrival for accuracy and quality.
• Liaise with suppliers and manage orders.
• Use parts ordering and stock management systems.
• Identify the correct parts for different vehicles and applications.
• Support technicians with parts requirements.
• Keep parts organised and ensure the workshop has what it needs.
• Help maintain an efficient and well‑run parts operation.
