Job summary

MSX International in Coventry seeks an experienced automotive technical engineer to be at the center of complex diagnostic repair cases, analyzing root causes and designing solutions that last. You will collaborate with skilled colleagues, use cutting-edge tools, and apply judgment where it matters most to deliver durable repairs.

In this role you will diagnose and repair vehicles, mentor retailers, and contribute to process improvements while based in Coventry with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Master Technician status or equivalent.
• Electrical diagnosis skills and experience.
• High voltage/EV experience (desirable).
• Ability to investigate, report on, and diagnose complex vehicle systems, hands-on or remotely.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to customer satisfaction within the regional area by delivering high-quality diagnostic and repair service.
• Following the repair process and monitoring success, analyzing gaps and advising on improvements.
• Reviewing existing processes to increase quality and reporting dealer performance on escalated cases.
• Communicating with retailer staff, coaching them, identifying root causes of technical deviations, and documenting issues for central teams.
• Building relationships with retailers and customers to continually improve function effectiveness.
