Qualifications

• Previous management experience within a franchised main dealership.
• Experience as an Aftersales Manager or Service Manager.
• Strong understanding of workshop operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day aftersales department operations for profitability.
• Lead, motivate and develop workshop and front-of-house teams.
• Drive profitability, labor sales, productivity and efficiency.
• Maximise service plan sales and revenue opportunities.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and service standards.
• Monitor KPIs and implement performance improvements.
• Manage workshop capacity, workflow and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, procedures and health and safety.
• Foster a customer-focused environment encouraging team development.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (8:30am-12:30pm)

Aftersales Manager to join an established main dealership in Boston, Lincolnshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of an existing aftersales department, lead an experienced team and play a key role in driving customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and profitability.

The dealership currently operates with 8 Technicians, 2 Front of House staff and a Workshop Controller, supported by a 10-ramp workshop with scope for further growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the aftersales department, ensuring efficient and profitable operations.
• Lead, motivate and develop the workshop and front-of-house teams.
• Drive departmental profitability, labour sales, productivity and efficiency.
• Maximise service plan sales and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service standards.
• Monitor departmental KPIs and implement improvements to achieve performance targets.
• Manage workshop capacity, workflow and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, company procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Build a positive, customer-focused working environment that encourages team performance and development.

About You

We are looking for a commercially minded automotive professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record within a main dealership environment.
