Job summary

BMS Engineering Recruitment is looking for an Account Development Manager in the automotive sector. The role covers managing dealer relationships across a Midlands UK territory, with field-based autonomy and a hybrid company car setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive retail at management level (Sales/Business/General Manager).
• Field sales experience is advantageous.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Commercially driven, confident and self-motivated.
• Ability to build credibility with dealership leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Support a network of automotive retail partners to maximise used car sales performance.
• Deliver reviews, training and presentations to dealership teams.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide commercial guidance to management.
• Balance coaching, performance analysis and consultative support in an account-management role.
