Job summary

BMS Engineering Recruitment is seeking an Account Development Manager for the automotive industry to manage dealer relationships across a Midlands UK territory. The role is field-based with hybrid company car, bonus and excellent benefits.

You will support automotive retail partners to maximise used car sales, profitability and programme standards, delivering reviews, training and presentations while building strong relationships with dealership leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Automotive retail experience at Sales Manager, Business Manager or General Manager level
• Additional field sales experience is advantageous
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Commercially driven, confident and self-motivated
• Ability to build credibility with dealership leadership teams

Responsibilities

• Support a network of automotive retail partners, helping maximise used car sales performance, profitability and programme standards.
• Deliver reviews, training and presentations, build strong stakeholder relationships, and provide commercial guidance to dealership management teams.
• Primarily account management focused, this role combines coaching, performance analysis and consultative support.
