Job summary

Ocado Group is seeking an Engineering Technician for our Erith fulfilment centre. You’ll be the first line of response for faults, diagnosing and resolving issues quickly to avoid downtime while performing planned servicing.

You’ll engage in proactive improvement projects and work within a fast-paced, high-tech environment. The role supports a 24/7 operation with 12-hour shifts across days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Technical understanding of automation hardware and software.
• Formal engineering qualification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to engineering faults in the automated fulfilment centre.
• Diagnose and resolve issues to minimise downtime.
• Carry out planned servicing and repairs to maintain equipment.
• Contribute to proactive improvement projects for reliability and efficiency.
