Job summary

Team4rec in the South UK territory seeks a Key Account Manager to own key customers and opportunities, blending existing account development with new opportunity creation in a consultative, project-based role.

You will spend time on site, collaborate with Engineering and Applications teams, and develop opportunities from initial contact through to order, including automation-led solutions. A UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree, apprenticeship or strong hands-on engineering background.
• Move into a commercial sales role.
• Experience selling engineered solutions such as automation, robotics, conveyors, capital equipment or controls.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on site understanding customer operations.
• Identify problems, inefficiencies, automation opportunities and future requirements.
• Scope technically led solutions across products, technology and automation.
• Work with Engineering and Applications teams to turn customer challenges into engineered solutions.
• Develop opportunities from initial discussion through proposal, negotiation and order.
• Increase the breadth and value of solutions within existing customers, including automation-led opportunities.
• Introduce customers to the wider product and technology range.
