Job summary

Involve Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an Applications Business Development Manager to cover the UK-wide Electrical Distributor network from Ipswich to Canterbury. You will identify and secure new opportunities, grow key accounts and tailor automation solutions to customer needs.

Ideal candidates have industrial automation or technical sales experience, strong consultative selling skills and a proactive, target-driven approach. A structured CRM user and MS 365 proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

Experience in industrial automation or technical sales.
Strong business development and consultative selling skills.
Excellent communication, organisation and CRM management.
Commercially aware, self-motivated and target-driven.

Responsibilities

Develop new business by identifying and securing opportunities within target markets.
Grow existing customer accounts to increase profitable sales.
Understand customer applications and recommend automation products and solutions.
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
Manage key accounts, visits, follow-ups and the sales pipeline.
Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales updates.
Ensure compliance with policies, standards and health & safety requirements.
