Job summary

CV Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their service and maintenance division. You will drive growth by identifying new clients, developing service contracts, and building long-term relationships across the UK and Europe.

The role is hands-on, involves meeting clients, site visits, and collaborating with engineering and service teams. Hybrid working includes one day in the office weekly, with uncapped commission and a company car or car allowance.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or business development experience in material handling, automation, engineering or related industry.
• Experience with automated storage systems, conveyors, crane systems or material handling equipment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new clients and business opportunities
• Develop and grow service and maintenance contracts
• Generate leads and manage the sales process from initial contact through to completion
• Arrange and conduct customer meetings and site visits
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Understand customer requirements and identify suitable solutions
• Work with engineering, service and project teams
• Support service coordination and project management when required
• Develop existing accounts and identify further commercial opportunities
• Take ownership of your sales pipeline and deliver targets
