Job summary

OctaiPipe is seeking a hands-on Product Quality Assurance Engineer to own automated test suites for ACE and the internal platform. You will design, implement and run UI, API and service-level tests, integrate into CI pipelines, and triage defects with clear evidence.

You will work with TypeScript, Playwright, Serenity/JS, Docker, GitHub Actions and REST APIs, gaining end-to-end QA ownership from day one while contributing to performance and security testing as the product scales.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA engineer with strong test-automation background.
• Experience designing end-to-end automated test suites.
• Proficiency with UI, API and service-level testing.
• Ability to wire tests into CI and triage defects with evidence.
• Familiarity with SaaS/PaaS product testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated tests — UI, API and service-level.
• Author BDD/Gherkin scenarios and automation code.
• Own end-to-end test coverage from scenarios to CI integration.
• Test ACE product and internal platform tooling surroundings.
• Manage test data and environment state via API and DB.
• Improve CI workflows, test reporting, and Jira/Xray traceability.
• Triage defects with product/QA leads and flag risks early.
• Contribute to regression and cross-version coverage.
• Verify issues raised by customers and propose workarounds.
