Job summary

Diesta Limited is hiring a QA Engineer to strengthen product reliability and automated test coverage across the platform. You will work with the Lead QA Engineer and report to the Head of Engineering.

This role goes beyond manual testing, focusing on automated coverage across UI, API, and end-to-end workflows. You will test in Angular Portal and backend services using Playwright, Cucumber and TypeScript, contribute test code and, where appropriate, small product changes to improve testability

Qualifications

Experience in automated web testing, ideally with Playwright and TypeScript.
Experience with Cucumber or another BDD framework.
Confident reading, navigating and contributing to application code.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve test strategies for Portal and backend applications.
Build and maintain automated test suites covering UI, API, integration and end-to-end scenarios.
Learn platform workflows, rules, variants and dependencies to guide tests.
Identify high-value regression scenarios and protect them as product evolves.
Navigate codebases to understand change impact and write meaningful tests.
Contribute test code and small product or tooling changes to improve testability.
